Kindfulness Coffee Club is very proud of our Baby
Kind Service.
Born under the umbrella of ‘Material Matters’ a
project run by Sefton CVS (Council for Voluntary Services) in partnership with
the local banks designed to reduce landfill in the borough of Sefton.
The Baby Kind bank is essentially run much like a
food bank concentrating on family’s needs around babies.
Families can access the Baby Kind primarily through
Health Visitor referral and the local family centres, this is to ensure family
safeguarding is in place. They will receive a starter pack containing
essentials
i.e. Nappies, wipes, cotton wool, bottles etc.
plus an additional pack of clothing.(some new, some
pre loved)
i.e. Vest, baby grow, cardigan, hat, mitts, bib,
coat, and, when available, blankets, cot sheets etc. All depends on
our stock at the time.
We provide essential items such as mosses baskets,
cots, prams, clothes, nappies, wipes, food and milk and any other items which
help families during their stages of need.
In addition to the Babykind service offered at
Kindfulness, families can access the NU2U shop for preloved items at discounted
rates where necessary.
If you can help with donations of any sort, please
get in touch.
In addition to clothing, toys and bric a brac, we
are able to accept small electrical items which we PAT tested prior to resale.
