Directors

MICHAEL MORRIS

Director

I recently retired from the world of education in England and Wales, and have settled in Liverpool. My links with Merseyside go back to the 1980s, and I wanted to give something to give back to the community that has given me so much inspiration, practical help and support over so many years. In particular, the staff and Directors of KCC were supportive when I went through a difficult period after losing my wife to cancer some years ago. I hope that what I do for KCC helps them continue to help others in their very special way.

NEVILLE BLACK

Director

After 40 years serving as a Vicar in Everton and Toxteth he retired in 2004 and is deeply committed to the vision of KCC to which he brings a vast experience of heavy involvement in Third Sector organisations in Central Liverpool.

Managers

Mo

NU-2-U Manager

Hi my name is Maureen I have been working
at Kindfulness Coffee Club since June 2016.
I am the Manager of the NU-2-U Pre-loved
Clothes shop. The revenue from the shop
goes to support the wellbeing centre and
Café. I really enjoy my job serving the local
community and customers but the most
enjoyable part is working with the varied
Volunteers in the shop and where necessary
helping them build up their confidence also
training them in Customer service amongst
other duties. The most rewarding part of my
role is when a volunteer feels confident
enough to seek and apply for paid
employment for themselves.

Managers

Mandy

WELLBEING MANAGER

My name is Mandy. I am the Wellbeing Manager at Kindfulness Coffee Club (KCC).
I’ve been involved with KCC since Dec 2013 when it was known as Tea & Empathy.
I started by assisting in the Café but changed role to dedicate my time to develop the wellbeing side of KCC.
Our primary aim is to provide a non-judge mental, empathetic, supportive listening ear and try to improve connections in our local community with the aim to build confidence and trust and
help promote better mental health.
We hope to provide a safe space where there is acceptance, care and trust.
Where people can access support as well as sign posting to help combat social isolation and loneliness.

Staff

Zoe

WELLBEING SUPPORT AND ADMIN

Hi, I’m Zoe the Admin and Well being Support for Kindfulness Coffee Club
(KCC)
I started off as a Volunteer at KCC back in January 2017 and now work part time here. I have helped to play a part in shaping new activities to
suit the requests of people accessing our services. From photography to
gardening groups we try and give everything a go and enjoy the positive
feedback we receive when we hear someone felt better for joining in.
Our aim is to try and reflect what our community and surrounding area would
like in order to make their lives easier and give the opportunity to try new
things.
