“KCC has been a supporting, caring, friendly place for me. Since the death of my wife through cancer my mental health issues have become worse. By attending KCC I have enjoyed making new friends through various things the cafe provides such as walk and talk, shared reading etc. The cafe provided me with a safe space where I can relax in and informal and warm environment.

The staff are friendly and understanding and very empathetic to the communities needs.

I endorse that there should be more places like this. I have made some good friends and would like to thank everyone from the management to the staff.”

“I had become very isolated….and one day by chance came into KCC. The welcome I got from the girls was so lovely!!

They were so understanding and helpful. I felt so comfortable there and still do. It’s like one big family. They introduced me to everyone.

Told me about The Supper Club and all the wonderful groups and workshops they run. I was so very glad I went in that day. It was pure fate.

Everyone involved in the KCC from staff to volunteers do a wonderful job. I’ve been involved with a few other organisations charities. In my opinion this one is the best and go above and beyond to help people like myself.”

“I had got into a bit of a rut and joined the photography group. Coming to the coffee  club has meant I have met lots of new friends. Mandy and Zoe are friendly and supportive and promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in all the groups and activities.”
